”Gintiki” is a band formed in Thessaloniki in 2014. At that time Tasos Kofodimos, Filippos Fasoulas, Konstantinos Lazos and Konstantis Papakonstantinou started to “experiment” by reworking traditional songs and thus they have been performing many times all over Greece and in festivals abroad (France, Germany). The band’s style is quite distinct as through traditional instruments, such as lute, clarinet, violin, percussion, they take a more modern approach to the traditional through the rhythm and songs.
