To the west of Lefktra To the west of Lefktra there is a three-aisled Byzantine church, cross-shaped with a dome. The original form of the church has been distorted due to additions that have been made over the years. The Byzantine features that are visible can be found in the wall-enclosed triple lancet window, which rests on an impressive beveled cornice, and in parts of the ceramic decoration, which date back to the 12th century AD. In the stonework of the church, massive stones with ancient inscriptions, tombs and parts of Byzantine sculptures have been embedded.
