The new members of the Tourism Promotion and Development Committee of the Municipality of Thiva held their first meeting on Monday, February 3, 2020, at the old Town Hall, in order to discuss the actions and the topics to be addressed by the Committee and to be included in the agenda of 2020.

The President, Mrs. Evangelia Tzouveleki-Repouskou, recognizing the significant work of the former Committee, under the Presidency of Mr. Dimitris Koutsodimos, invited to the meeting all former members of the Committee, whose term of office concluded as well as the Heads of the Municipal Parties, the Presidents and the Members of the Communities of the Municipality and the members of TOSYN. She also gave the floor to all attendees to express their views on the development of tourism in the area, thus sending a message of synergy.

The President asked the members to submit their proposals in writing as soon as possible, so that the Committee can reconvene and draw up the Action Plan 2020, that will be submitted to the Municipal Council to make a relevant decision and then to the Greek National Tourism Organisation.

Present at the meeting were:
• the ordinary members: the full members : Marina Katsimicha, Apostolos Dagdelenis, Athina Noka, Stylianos Theorodou, Vasilios Gelis, Sotiris Karamagiolis, Maria Zygouri, Zografia Christou, E. Kafe and Charalambos Nikas
• – the substitute members: Konstantinos Haremis (Chairman of the Board), Kalamiotis Stamatis (Chairman of Municipal Association of Thiva), Ilias Trampakoulos (Head of the Minor Minority of the Board), Stefanos Dimopoulos, Menelaos Karamagiolis and Angelos Gelis.
• The former President of the Tourism Committee Dimitris Koutsodimos, the former President of the Commercial Association and former member of the Committee Nikos Stratelos and Georgios Katselis, also former member of the Committee
• The Head of the Major Minority of the Board Grigoris Papavasiliou, the President of the Community of Thiva, Georgios Gelekas and the Local Counsellors Fotis Stamatopoulos and Kostas Anastasiou, and the President of TOSYN Marios Stantzos.
